CNOA takes pride in being able to provide
services to its members and financial assistance to families of California Law enforcement
officers who have given their lives in the line of duty. To help subsidize the unfortunate
expense of these services, CNOA holds several fundraising events throughout the year .
Please check this page for upcoming events or contact us at 877-775-NARC
Tragically, each and every year,
in the State of California, ten to twenty law enforcement officers lose
their lives in the line of duty. The survivors of our fallen officers have
informed us that the family’s immediate financial need is for funds to cover
food, travel, lodging and burial expenses. Insurance and pensions are not
received until many months after the death of their loved one. For information
about the Survivors Memorial Fund Golf Classic, please contact Joe Stewart at CNOA (661)

The beautiful bronze and granite "California Peace Officer' Memorial" located on State Capitol grounds in Sacramento contains the names of the more than 1,300 courageous peace officers who have laid down their lives in the line of duty protecting and serving their fellow Californians, dating back to early statehood. Existing law allows taxpayers to make voluntary tax-free contributions on their personal state income tax returns to the "California Peace Officers' Memorial Foundation Fund". The process is simple. No checks to write and no solicitors. The taxpayer merely executes a "check off" on his or her State Franchise Income Tax return in the amount of at least $1.00 or more. Importantly, the law specifies that all contributions must be used to maintain the "California Peace Officers' Memorial", and for activities in support of the most deserving surviving families of those gallant men and women peace officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. When you file your State Income tax return for 2005 we urge every taxpayer and the more than 100,000 professional peace officers serving in California to become "heroes" by supporting this most worthwhile project.
Our law enforcement survivors are depending on you.
