The California Narcotic Officers’ Association recognizes and awards important achievements in the law enforcement community. The Corporation of the Year Award recognizes a Corporation for their demonstration of outstanding support of law enforcement. The Narcotic Educational Foundation of America (NEFA) awards the S. Bert Jensen Scholarship Award to the winner of the “Why Say No to Drugs” essay contest and the John F. (Jack) Kerrigan Award to a citizen, corporation, or peace officer in recognition of an outstanding contribution to prevent drug abuse.

This award will publicly identify and honor the prosecutor and his agency.

Lucky Narc Award
This is a special award given to an officer who experienced an event while enforcing narcotic laws that exhibited not only good investigative techniques but where luck was a major factor in the case . The award is not meant to recognize unsafe or poor tactics, nor should it bring embarrassment to the individual or his/her agency. The nominee must be a member of CNOA.
